The Alchemist - Paul Coelho

Maha Vaakyas... It's the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary; only wise men are able to understand them Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own. "It's this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That's the world's greatest lie." Everyone, when they are young, knows what their destiny is... "At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream, and to yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their destiny." "And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."  "If you start out by promising what you don't even ha

Tech touch !!!

A small incident changed the way I perceive technology and also gave me unusual new friend.  I used to think technology as heartless before that. I used to see it as both Hero and  Villain. A s soon as our roads are heavily motorized a lot our generations became cardiac, diabetic or metabolic patient. As soon as TV became household in 1990’s social interactions got reduced. Are these smart phones  boon or ban?! it throws a lot of stuff at us and becomes a stupid distraction! At the same time it is in the core of lot of cutting edge technology services offering essential stuff. But rarely Technology plays complete savior role. Recently I realized the same and led to an accidental friendship with an auto driver. I was searching for an auto at the entrance urgently to catch my train to native. I saw this lean auto guy approaching me. He talked very polite and told that he will put meter. I did not give a thought and boarded the auto wondering did he say really about mete

"If flying is normal for birds...running is normal for humans..."

I want to live in the memory and remember the beautiful day I jogged to my extreme. If there is something really great in this world it is our bodies. If I was a Doctor I should have known that. Being an Engineer it happened to discover on my own. I wanted to shed some weight and want to become fit. I picked up jogging for minutes to hours, from meters to kilometers on time span of 2 months. Slowly my body picked-up to run 13 kms and I did it almost daily for a month. I ran everyday 13 kms back to my apartment after work. Finally in one fine Saturday, I hit 25 kms in 3.5 hours a big jog of my life time in a beautiful trail under a blissful temperature of 18 degrees. I stopped only after my water bottle went dry. I am not tired after the run. I felt the runner's high and meditational bliss. I cannot take pride. Because its my body (created by god Or evolved as per Darwin) which done this feet. Mind is a ghost. Body is God! Then back from Netherlands my project kicked-up and I again

The Happiness !!!

I got overwhelmed to find what is the meaning of happiness when I walked through the Pub street of Eindhoven in Nederlands at 12:00 clock Saturday Midnight. People... People Everywhere... Sound of Disco drums in your ear buds... Puffs of Cigarettes fly around... Smell of fermented wine and Beer invades Nostrils... Under the shades of New Moon and Darkness colorful lights of Dance bars wheels around... Girls and Boys... Ladies and Gentleman... Grandmas and Grandpas... (sparing kids and minors) Dressed exposingly blatantly people walk around... Its so crowded... And then came the obscuring sight... In the pub street at the Centrum stands the magnificent jaw dropping church of 18 th century... A golden Cross sits at its top... Its majestic brick towers shines in moonlight... And the weirdest scenery is the big group of drunken people dancing on the courtyards of church... Its vulgar or normal... I cant tell...They are boozed and drugged (Drugs are legal in many cities of Nederlands)... Th

Mind has its own mind...

Mind has its own states. We can say that it has its own mind. (Like body has its own body... wound heals itself, digestion happens on its own) For example when we are in a problem and know the solution to it... Then we say to ourselves that this will be solved by so & so... But it is obvious it will not make your mind happy... Mind will keep on worrying about it... still it exhausts itself or problem gets solved... So mind has its own mind... The logical mind is not its controller... So what to do...don't let down... Keep your logical mind instructing your emotional mind... Then emotional mind will start to obey after some time... because mind has it's own mind :-)

I bless you with more and more envy & jealousiness

Before I bless you with Envy and Jealousy. I will give their definitions first. "E nvy" is an emotion that occurs when a person lacks another's (perceived) superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desires it or wishes that the other lacked it. "Jealousy" is the fear of losing something that one possesses to another person. We are in a period of transition culturally, economically and socially. Effect of privatization in India led to culmination of service sectors like software field. Growth is yet one sided like richer getting richer while poorer still poorer. But there is plenty of opportunities to everybody today than 1970's. More people are getting in to middle and upper middle class now. A lot is getting richer. But If we measure the happiness they have we can find how poorer they are. In this modern city based life and life-style which is wholly materialistic the thing that is lagging behind is the spiritual aspect. Envy and jealousy is b
