Some controversial stands

I am for Dowry....
Yes...I am for dowry...But, if you think me as a fundamental, I declare I don't want to be. There are times where the dowry is the right option to choose from. Did you believe? Yes it is! Most of the middle class Indian homes might have a son and daughter. Mostly the daughter is the one who gets married first. The daughters will mostly never get the property of their father. House or land owned by their parents goes to the son. In those cases, parents are obliged to give Dowry and the girls has the right to ask for compensation (In its social form it becomes dowry). It's indirectly a compensation only. As sum of dowry might be very less compared with the property to be inherited by the son. Because of the unequal sharing of property only, still the dowry exists in society.
I am against Dowry...
Dowry is a social evil. It is the symbol of injustice in society. In reality, dowry brings more evil than it ought to be. Poor parents are the most sufferers. And greedy bridegrooms exploit their wives. It is the symbol of female oppression and it is the one that kills a lots of married indian women and abuses them whether their parents or rich or not. If you have a relative who suffered because of dowry then you might spit at me when you read the "I am for Dowry" paragraph.
How to abolish Dowry practically (My solution)...
Yes you can abolish it by strictly by forcing the existing laws then all of the population will be in jail. So it is not practical. The concept of Inter caste love marriages or dating marriages of western type will prevent this, but our soceity is not at all culturally matured to that level. We are backward as a ditch.
My solution: So Dowry can be abolished by strictly pushing a "new" law, which says that inherited property should be shared equally with male and female children.
And for self-earned property, it should be brought to some kind of legal arrangement whenever a children is ready for marriage. I mean, the 'will' should be written before the death and also with consent/not consent of children. The 'will' should be ready with the horoscope. (Horoscope is another evil which I will deal it later.) This might be the practical way to abolish dowry. Because dowry is all about sharing or exploiting money....

I bless you with more and more envy & jealousiness

Before I bless you with Envy and Jealousy. I will give their definitions first. "E nvy" is an emotion that occurs when a person lacks another's (perceived) superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desires it or wishes that the other lacked it. "Jealousy" is the fear of losing something that one possesses to another person. We are in a period of transition culturally, economically and socially. Effect of privatization in India led to culmination of service sectors like software field. Growth is yet one sided like richer getting richer while poorer still poorer. But there is plenty of opportunities to everybody today than 1970's. More people are getting in to middle and upper middle class now. A lot is getting richer. But If we measure the happiness they have we can find how poorer they are. In this modern city based life and life-style which is wholly materialistic the thing that is lagging behind is the spiritual aspect. Envy and jealousy is b...

Shame to be a man

I have been always proud of being a man. I used to believe that as a man I am mentally and physically strong. I always had a strong male ego. I used to have the same mentality towards women like everybody used to have from my part of world. As everybody I was brought up in a way that made me believe that as a man I am above women. The flawed society in various forms like mass media "cinema" reinforced the concept again & again. Like most of the men I saw them inferior, sex icons, weak, dependent, less-intelligent...etc., etc ., The moment of realisation... I always proud of being a man till that very moment of realisation struck in my mind. This stuff is personal, but not really a personal one. Here is that very moment... My wife was carrying a baby baby. One night she told that baby is kicking... It is the first time she is feeling it so strong...I laid my hands on her stomach to feel the baby...my baby hit my hands...he was moving & shaking inside...I felt like cry...
